Privacy Policy

Runs? is an iMessage app provided by Gen28. It helps people coordinate a temporary four-person gaming squad inside an existing Messages conversation.

Information we collect

When a message is successfully sent or fails to send, Runs? may send a limited analytics event to Amplitude. That event contains:

• a random installation identifier created by Runs?;
• the action category, such as start, join, update, drop, or end;
• whether the action came from the drawer or inline Join button;
• the participant, guest, and open-place counts after the action;
• a fixed error category if sending fails; and
• the event time and a random identifier used to prevent duplicate events.

Information we do not collect

Runs? does not send names, phone numbers, email addresses, message text, conversation content, conversation identifiers, run identifiers, participant identifiers, Apple advertising or vendor identifiers, precise or coarse location, contacts, photos, audio, or surrounding Messages history to our analytics service. Runs? does not use advertising, cross-app tracking, session replay, or automatic screen and interaction capture.

How we use information

We use the limited events only to understand whether core squad actions work, measure feature usage, diagnose send failures, and improve Runs?. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.

Service provider

Amplitude processes the limited analytics events on our behalf. Runs? sends events directly to Amplitude and does not embed Amplitude's screen-recording or automatic-capture tools.

Retention and choices

We retain pilot analytics only for as long as reasonably needed to evaluate and improve Runs?. You can stop future analytics collection by removing Runs? from your device. To ask a privacy question or request deletion of analytics associated with your installation, contact us. Because the installation identifier is not connected to your identity, we may need information from your device to locate the correct anonymous record.

Children

Runs? is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Material changes will be reflected before a corresponding app release.
